Join the junior cricket club
Hopkinstown cricket club has a rich and successful history of youth cricket. The youth set up at Hopkinstown has seen many successful players come through the ranks to represent the senior teams, county and even international level with Wales.
The past year has seen a resurgence in youth cricket at Hopkinstown with our newly formed development teams and under 13’s team. The number of new faces we have seen join our ranks at Hopkinstown has been hugely encouraging and we are planning to build on this going into 2022.
As well as our age structured teams we are also introducing the hugely popular Allstars cricket and Dynamo cricket to our set up and become a registered centre for cricket development in the South Wales valley’s this year.
Our goal at Hopkinstown is to become a family orientated environment centred around youth cricket, so we welcome players of all ages to get in touch and experience what cricket has to offer at this fantastic club!
All Stars Cricket
What is All Stars?
All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development.
The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so.
Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies. Your child’s pack will include:
- Backpack
- Cricket bat
- Cricket ball
- Personalised t-shirt with your child’s name
All children returning to All Stars will receive a kit bag, a set of stumps, a new ball and a personalised t-shirt.
